TRAVELLER ACCOMMODATION WORKER
PART TIME PERMANENT POST
Mincéirí Port Láirge is looking to recruit a Traveller
Accommodation Worker to join its Staff team.
ROLE FOCUS WILL INCLUDE:
* Supporting the local Traveller community with their accommodation
needs
* Liaising with Waterford City and County Council in promoting the
delivery of the Local Traveller Accommodation Programme (TAP)
* Supporting the Local Traveller community through advocacy work and
supporting self -advocay in relation to individual/family
accommodation needs
* To contribute to and respond to policy initiatives which impact on
Traveller accommodation.
* To represent Mincéirí Port Láirge on a number of accommodation
policy for a as directed by the CEO and/or Management Board
LOCATION: The worker will be based at Mincéirí Port Láirge offices
at 2nd. Floor Déise House, Railway Square, Waterford. X**Apply on the

HOURS OF WORK: *.5 hrs. per week
SALARY: Salary in line with Development Worker pay scale and will be
available at interview.
GARDA VETTING: The successful candidate will be required to comply
with Garda Vetting procedures.
